I chose this word. . .
. . . weeks ago actually. . .
& even though I knew
this was the word . . .
. . . & it repeatedly tugged on my heartstrings. . .
for some reason I felt the need to keep it to myself.
. . . But, in my heart
. . . with the events in my life
in these first few weeks of the new year. . .
I know that I want to put it out there. . .
Because it's what I so utterly depend on. . .
. . . what I treasure in others. . .
. . . & what I strive for in my own thoughts & actions. . .
It's going to be a journey. . .
. . . but there's no other journey I would rather travel . . .
. . . than one filled with this.

Hi Bren, I love your new word! Mine is joy-I've taken it to mean live joyously. But I've often learned that a new word can also mean new growth and not always easy.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I keep meaning to ask you what breed your dog is-she/he is so adorable; I love his eyes.
Hope you have a Grace filled day!
Hugs, Noreen
xo!
ReplyDeleteGood word for this year, Bren!!
ReplyDeleteOh I like your word for this year! It is so rich and full of meaning! God is so merciful to us to lace our lives with grace - God's Riches At Christ's Expense says it all... love reading your blog. Thank you for all you share.
ReplyDeleteOh Bren, how I love your word, GRACE! It should be adequate for each of us each day. GOD'S GRACE, what more could we ask for.
